Map and pollution readings for North Creek

North Creek runs through Lakeville into the Vermillion which in turn flows into the Mississippi.

Lakeville Friends of the Environment has adopted a portion of North Creek, from 175th St. to HighView Avenue.

Unfortunately, North Creek is polluted! July of 2007 it averaged an E. coli reading of 437.

The Minnesota State requirement is 125. Workers from the Vermillion watershed District when measuring the pollution have seen dog droppings!
